Yesterday’s Rasmussen Presidential Tracking Poll had President Trump at a 50% approval rating. Believe it or not, that’s 5% higher than Obama’s during the same time in his first term.

But there’s one teeny, tiny detail that we should highlight. His approval ratings among black voters is 29%. I know that sounds ridiculously low, but you have to remember that the Democratic Party has a stronghold on minority voters. That aside, this time last year, Trump’s approval rating among black voters was only 15%. In other words, they like what they’re seeing. I’m willing to bet a lot of that has to do with the record low black unemployment rate we saw a few months ago. A flourishing economy benefits ALL of us.
