According to recent reports, “twin” wildfires are threatening thousands of homes in Northern California. We’re 10,000. Let that sink in for a second. We’re talking up to 10,000 families and all their possessions. I can’t even imagine what they’re going through.

The two fires straddling Mendocino and Lake counties had burned seven homes along 116 square miles (300 square kilometers) of rural land. Fire crews were able to slow the spread of one of the blazes into populated areas and instead the fire pushed into the Mendocino National Forest.
