President Trump Throws Michael Cohen Under The Bus

Ugh. I SO want this to end. It got weird enough after Tom Arnold stuck his nose all up in it. Now this?

President Trump is lashing out at Michael Cohen. Apparently, Cohen recorded a conversation they had discussing a payment to a Playboy model who claimed to have a fling with Trump (no– not Stormy Daniels). The discussion took place two months before the election.

Inconceivable that the government would break into a lawyer’s office (early in the morning) – almost unheard of. Even more inconceivable that a lawyer would tape a client – totally unheard of & perhaps illegal. The good news is that your favorite President did nothing wrong!

The model, Karen McDougal, got a $150,000 payment from the National Enquirer for her story, although it never ran. She says she had a year-long affair with Trump.

The FBI seized Cohen’s devices during a raid on his home and office in New York this spring. A court then oversaw the culling of millions of documents and files to determine which ones might be protected by attorney-client privilege.

Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani says the recording is two minutes long, the New York Times reported.

Here’s where it gets even more interesting. There’s speculation that Trump’s own team leaked this report in order to get ahead of the story and throw Cohen under the bus.

We obviously don’t know for sure, but it’s a possibility. I could see Trump’s camp doing this.
