As you know, President Trump met with Russian President Vladimir Putin today, and many people are outraged. They’re saying that Trump didn’t defend us and our intelligence community. They say Trump should’ve called Putin a bloody liar after he claimed that Russia didn’t meddle in the 2016 election.
“I don’t see any reason why it would be [Russia], I really want to see the server. President Putin was extremely strong in his denial,” Trump said when asked about Russian interference.
I don’t like how Trump handled the question, but I ALSO think that MSM was going freak out over this summit no matter what. It’s no excuse, but it’s undeniable.

Reporter: Do you hold Russia at all accountable for anything in particular? If so, what would you consider them responsible for?@POTUS: Yes, I do. I hold both countries responsible. I think the United States has been foolish. https://t.co/ayZoKGvWxk pic.twitter.com/dTQKG00eL4

Treasonous? No. Cringeworthy? Yeah.
This doesn’t prove that he’s Putin’s puppet. Trump is just sick and tired of the Democrats suggesting that he only won the election thanks to Putin himself. THAT’S what he was thinking about when he was answering those questions. And yes, he should’ve defended our intelligence community on foreign soil, but I know he was thinking of all the crooked freaks within some of the agencies. I mean, James freaking Comey was the head of the FBI. I’m not saying that’s an excuse. I’m just saying that I THINK I understand where Trump was coming from.
Again, it’s no excuse. You’re the leader of the free world. Check yourself.
Liberals were going to freak out over this meeting no matter what, but conservatives? Nope. It didn’t have to be this way.
Fox Business host Trish Regan ripped into Trump.
“He should have defended us. He should have defended his own intelligence community. Or just don’t take the meeting. Don’t go to Helsinki if you can’t look the guy in the eye and tell him what’s what!” she said.

Later on, she tweeted the word “unpatriotic,” which is HEAVY.
Unpatriotic. Don’t let a bully bully you on the international stage. POTUS should have defended us. https://t.co/dxg0UrBQvW

Whoa… that’s something, especially coming from someone OTHER than a ravenous lib.
