I get really, REALLY frustrated with reckless drivers.
People often make fun of me for driving like a “grandma.” I don’t really speed (I go the speed of traffic, k?), I don’t tailgate, I ALWAYS use my turn signal, and I obey ALL rules of the road.
Here’s the thing. A LOT of these people drive like a$$holes. I’m not talking “I speed like a normal human being” types. I’m talking BAT OUT OF HELL LUNATICS. I don’t care if you’re offended, I’m putting it out there. If you recklessly speed, tailgate, and drive like you own the road, you’re a selfish a$$hole. You’re putting people’s lives at risk because your selfish a$$ couldn’t wake up on time and not be late for work (again).
That’s your problem. Don’t take people’s lives into your own reckless hands because of your terrible time management skills.
Are you butthurt? I don’t care. My grandmother and uncle were killed by a selfish a$$hole driver. My aunt and other uncle were hospitalized because of the accident. It tore our family apart.
You know what REALLY irks me? When people ride my a$$ in a construction zone. People’s mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters are literally working on the side of the road. You’re gonna ride my a$$ so that I’ll go faster, and HELP YOU put their lives in danger?
No thanks, a$$hole. I just slowed down ANOTHER 10mph. Don’t bother flipping me off. I’m jamming out to Queen. I won’t even notice.
So anyway, one of these selfish a$$holes figured he’d go 120 mph in a construction zone. He had somewhere really special to be, obviously.
An Indiana State Police officer pulled over a driver for doing 120 mph in a 60 mph construction zone on the outskirts of the city this week, and the man had the nerve to ask if he could get off for a warning.
NOPE.
He got some JAIL TIME.
Trooper Nick Klingkammer, driving his unmarked @FordMustang, pulled this car over for 1⃣2⃣0⃣mph on I-69 near Fishers tonight 😳
It’s an active @INDOT #WorkZone, speed limit is 6️⃣0️⃣mph
Driver asked for a warning🤦♂️

GOOD.
Communications officer Sgt. John Perrine posted images of the incident on Twitter, complete with a face palm emoji symbolizing his disbelief.
He said that Trooper Nick Klingkammer was on patrol in his unmarked Ford Mustang when he spotted the scofflaw flying down I-69 in an Infiniti Q60 sports coupe.
Cute car. It’s a shame about your tiny BLEEEEEEP.
After denying the driver’s request for clemency, Klingkammer took him to jail.
Perrine told The Drive that the driver faces a maximum sentence of 365 days in jail and $5,000 in fines if convicted on the charges he now faces.
The incident happened just days after another Indiana State Police officer went viral and was called a “hero” for pulling over a driver going to slowly in the passing lane.
Which was ALSO awesome.
CAN EVERYONE IN INDIANA STOP DRIVING LIKE STUPID, SELFISH A$$HOLES NOW?!
Thanks.
