John McCain cannot seem to stop his attempts to undermine our president at every turn. This is what he tweeted out in response to the G7 summit goings-on.
To our allies: bipartisan majorities of Americans remain pro-free trade, pro-globalization & supportive of alliances based on 70 years of shared values. Americans stand with you, even if our president doesn’t.

OMG, McCain. SHUT. UP.
Guess who else is for free trade? Trump. But he, unlike other leaders before him, is looking out for the best interests of the United States, which is his JOB. But what would you know about that, what with your promises to repeal Obamacare and then your refusal to repeal Obamacare?
Lots of folks let McCain know just how uncalled for his tweet was:
Attempting to undermine our President on the world stage as he works to fix long-standing imbalances to help US workers is a sad moment in your extraordinary life.

It's too bad you both don't get along. Hope you're doing well, but let the president do his job. He stands with all our allies, but places America's interests FIRST.

You're part of the problem that put the US beneath our trading partners

Shared values? Is that your definition of the totally lopsided trade we've been doing in favor of others? President Trump is something you will never be: President and a leader who gets things done. You were never a conservative, and I'm ashamed to call you my fellow countryman.

Joe Pags’ response was my favorite.
Senator — I believe in free trade and our alliances. Most Americans are finally learning that we do NOT have free trade with these allies. In fact, we are being screwed on every deal. Most of us are NOT for globalization at the expense of our own country's future. Be well https://t.co/dysiGlPl5Q
