It’s like she’s utterly unaware of how completely pretentious and arrogant she sounds.
BEHOLD:
Did you get a load of that caption? (Edited: This WAS the caption before she got called out and changed it).
“Dear #Shug was always with me, everywhere, at all times. My wee darling. Both Buttermilk and she laid and slept on more beautiful gowns than most people every see in their lifetime. #shug #buttermilk #myhounds #heartache @badgleymischka”
Lemme ask you something. If you were missing your now-deceased dog(s), and wanted to post something on social media about the #heartache you felt over the loss of that dog, would you:
A: Post a photo of that dog when it was healthy and happy or
B: Post a photo of the back of one of your designer gowns (and tag that designer) during the last weeks of your dog’s life when it looked frail and sickly, and talk about how that dog got to nap on dresses that most common peasants wouldn’t ever even lay eyes on during their pathetic lifetimes?
If you’re Ashley Judd, and you’re a self-absorbed narcissist, then obviously you go for Option B.
I cannot even fathom the kind of lack of self-awareness it takes to post something this pretentious. I mean, let’s be real here. This photo isn’t about her dog. It’s about her Badgley Mischka dress, and the fact that she’s SUCH A HUGE CELEBRITY that she allowed her dogs to lay on dresses that most losers won’t ever see in person because they’re not nearly as important as she is.
Please add this to the endless list of reasons that I loathe her with the fury of a billion suns.
UPDATE: SHE HAS CHANGED HER CAPTION. This is why I love screenshots. Here’s the way it looked when I first saw it and embedded it above.
Here’s what it looks like now.
Listen – if my post got her to see the ridiculousness, I’m glad for it. SOMEONE NEEDED TO CALL HER OUT.
