Ex-NFL Player Compares Us To Nazi Germany…Over The NFL’s New National Anthem Policy

Last week, the NFL announced its new policy on the national anthem. It’s quite simple. If a player wants to “protest,” he can. He just has to keep it in the locker room. If a player comes out on the field during the national anthem, he’s expected to stand and show respect.

If you’re too much of a man-child to show respect, stay in the locker room. It’s that simple.

Dude. No one is saying you can’t protest “injustices.” We’re simply saying that you should do it on your own time. The NFL’s new policy isn’t a violation of anyone’s freedom of speech. This is an employer telling employees how to carry themselves in the work place. The NFL is allowed to set rules for the organization. Period.
