Before moving to Arizona this year, I lived in Indiana… so I’ve heard the “Michael Pence wants to shock the sin outta gays” narrative for YEARS.
Newsflash: he doesn’t. Mike Pence is a Christian man with religious convictions. He also treats everyone with kindness and respect.
The “Pence hates the gays” talk has only ever come from one side… and it’s not his.
So anyway, here’s something that happened that the liberal media conveniently stepped neatly around.
Vice President Pence swore openly gay Republican Richard Grenell in as Ambassador to Germany late last week. His partner, Matt Lashey, stood by his side.
Did you catch that part where Pence threw the Bible at them and condemned them to hell?
NO! BECAUSE IT DIDN’T HAPPEN.
Because unlike the Dems who refuse to give ANYONE who doesn’t agree with them on EVERYTHING the time of day, we ACTUALLY “tolerate” differences and coexist.
Funny how that works, isn’t it?
The Vice President just put every Pence-hating zealot to shame, and don’t expect the mainstream media to cover it.
In a quiet ceremony V.P. Mike Pence swore in a high ranking openly gay Republican to become U.S. Ambassador to Germany on Thursday.
Democrats blocked Richard Grenell’s appointment for as long as they could, but his new position finally became official with zero fanfare from the media or liberal elites.
Pence, has made no apologies for of his deeply held Christian beliefs and doesn’t support gay marriage. Despite their differences, Pence used a massive Bible to swear in Grenell who had his longtime partner Matt Lashey by his side.
Pence fully exemplifies this “tolerance” the liberals preach. He is willing to entirely set aside differences and treats others with respect.
The left has yet to pay him that courtesy:
Pence has become the target for many in the LGBT community who’ve been brainwashed to believe that Vice President wants people jailed for being gay. It’s a ludicrous claim, that hundreds-of-thousands, if not millions, of indoctrinated liberals believe. The breathless hysteria can be witnessed by previous demonstrations and protests in front of Pence’s home:

And who could forget when dozens of college grads rudely walked out while Mike Pence gave a commencement speech at Notre Dame?
One would think that young leftists and the gay community would cheer the historic moment between Pence and Grenell… maybe, if they were honest with themselves, they’d even call it progress?
Nah, because giving Pence any kind of props would completely destroy the flawed ideology that equates those who do not support same-sex marriage with tyrannical haters.
It’s a widely held illogical leap that must be protected at all costs to keep the division alive. Hence, the confusion and frustration this moment of “unlikely” unity spurred on social media.
US Ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, is the highest-ranking openly gay official in a Republican administration.
He was sworn in by Mike Pence.
Cue the liberal outrage. 😂#CincoDeMayo #SaturdayMorning pic.twitter.com/8Po4mt4NqV
