AWKWAAARD! ‘Fight Song’ Singer Apparently Doesn’t Know The National Anthem

Ok… So usually I might feel a little bad for someone who totally flubs the Anthem in front of a bunch of people.

I mean, stress can make you forget the words to ANY song!

Buuuuuuuuuut… Rachel Platten is the woman behind that GOD-AWFUL “Fight Song” Hillary Clinton played ever 15 seconds during her campaign.

This? This was her fault…

Remember this?

“This is for Hillary.”

Uh huh. Yeah.

Rachel Platten… why did you subject us to this?

Anyway. That chick doesn’t know the National Anthem. It was AWK.

Pop star Rachel Platten’s performance of the national anthem before the April 14 National Women’s Soccer League match between the Utah Royals and the Chicago Red Stars did not go as planned.

Platten, who’s best known for her anthem “Fight Song,” apparently forgot the words to “The Star-Spangled Banner” and had to start over twice before she was able to power through.

“O, say can you see, by the stars early light,” Platten began, before starting over and then asking the crowd for help with the lyrics.

Thankfully, she was able to recover and finish the anthem.

Again… I’d usually feel bad for her.

But this chick made my ears bleed throughout the 2016 presidential campaign… so, eh. Sucks for you.
