As I mentioned this weekend, David Hogg did his very best to remind everyone of why trying to compromise and have reasonable discussions across the aisle is nearly impossible at this point.
Marco Rubio tweeted this in response to the #MarchForOurLives protests…
Today many are peacefully exercising their #1A right to march for gun ban. Many support gun ban. But many others see it as infringement of #2A that won’t prevent shootings. Protest is good way of making a point, but making a change will require both sides finding common ground

I don’t always agree with Rubio… but I feel that this was a solid and respectful statement to make.
How did Little Hogg respond? With this polarizing, disrespectful GARBAGE:
“I’m going to start off by putting this price tag right here as a reminder for you guys to know how much Marco Rubio took for every student’s life in Florida,” Parkland survivor David Hogg says at #MarchForOurLives. pic.twitter.com/i54QSygI4C

He LITERALLY set out a price tag “as a reminder for your guys to know how much Marco Rubio took for every student’s life in Florida.”
Excuse my language… but what a punk-a$$ little POS.
What exactly does he think this is going to do? Encourage people to come together to find common ground?
Of course not. That’s not what he’s interested in. He’s interested in extending his 15 minutes and getting a few more rabid twitter followers.
He was on CNN with his sister… and Alisyn Camerota did him a favor by allowing him to walk that sh*t back.
It’s like when a toddler’s mom says “Wow. Little Davy is so sorry. Aren’t you Little Davy?”
.@davidhogg111 admits that his rage against Senator @marcorubio is misplaced since Rubio is one of the only ones who has been working across the isle to solve the shooting epidemic. pic.twitter.com/oUvTfdf73q

noted by @AndrewJKugle, CNN host has to preface her fact-check with “I’m not a Marco Rubio spokesperson.” Can’t just fact-check straight up, obviously she must indicate to audience she is on the side of goodness. Classic. https://t.co/w4bIFNqlGn

She’s trying so hard not to offend a couple of teenagers. It’s hilarious

Then the same thing happens about the NRA…
As you’ll remember, this little punk has said more than his fair share about NRA members…
Good lord…
Anyway, Alysin walked him through that one, too…
“We are not trying to take your guns. … We just don’t think that if you have a criminal history, a history of mental illness or a history of domestic violence that you should be able to get a weapon.” – Florida school shooting survivor David Hogg https://t.co/ur27ii66Ah pic.twitter.com/iCm0nmAJIF

Really, David? Reeeeally?
Funny how he doesn’t have any introspect when he’s speaking in front of crowds, calling the NRA murderers, and his “price tag” stunt.
He had PLENTY of time to think that thru first, and didn’t. THIS is why the #MarchForOurLives won’t result in anything other than ignoring them.

But yeah… even though she held his hand through it, Alisyn was one of the VERY FEW in the MSM that has EVER called this punk out… (though very, very gently.)
So…
Kudos to the CNN anchor for making the point. https://t.co/u2W7i0V0kp

Good for her but I always find it amusing that reporters always have to say, “I’m not x spokesman” or “to play devil’s advocate” when bringing up GOP talking points. Rarely done for the other side.
— Andrew Kugle (@AndrewJKugle) March 26, 2018
Oh, I know.
Let us also note that she is the rarity. CNN, MSNBC, etc, etc…largely have had these kids on, and not held them to any intellectual standard whatsoever.
