Missing Pennsylvania Spring Breaker Found Dead In Bermuda

It’s every parent’s nightmare when they hear the words “Spring Break”

And for one Pennsylvania family… their worst nightmares have become reality.

A student who was reported missing on the last day of his Bermuda Spring Break has been found… and tragically, it’s too late.

According to Daily Mail:

A 19-year-old student has been found dead a day after he went missing from a bar while on a school trip with his rugby team in Bermuda.

Mark Dombroski was a freshman at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He was visiting Hamilton, Bermuda, with his team for a rugby tour when he went missing early Sunday morning from a popular bar on the island.

A search party launched on Monday afternoon ended at around 4.30pm after his body was found.

So, so sad.

His actual cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Police have yet to reveal how the student died after he went missing from a bar on Sunday morning.

During a press conference with the Bermuda Police on Monday, officials said there is no indication at this time that Dombroski was intoxicated when he went missing.

Surveillance footage last spotted the rugby player alive at 1.15am.

Dombroski’s mother, Lisa, said during the press conference: ‘We love him dearly. We want him back’.

This was hours before a search party found his body.

She also said her son did not appear to be enjoying the ‘party atmosphere’ with his teammates, based on the footage she watched.

I can’t imagine what his mother must be going through right now. My heart truly aches for her.

He reportedly injured his shoulder during his game earlier that day, and the footage allegedly showed him favoring that injury.

Dombroski’s parents were on the island helping with the search and his two brothers Flew out on Monday to assist.

But their efforts ended abruptly on Monday afternoon.

He was last seen wearing khaki pants, a green T-shirt and black shoes at The Dog House, a bar in Hamilton, Bermuda.

Dombroski was supposed to leave the island with his rugby team later on Sunday to head back to the United States.

The Bermuda Rugby Football Union offered a reward of $1,000 to anyone who has information about the student’s whereabouts before his body was discovered on Monday.

So, so sad.
