We’ve known for AGES that Linda Sarsour, Women’s March leader and overall hosebeast, is a BIG Farrakhan supporter…
Yes, the same Farrakhan that basically praises Hitler for attempting to exterminate Jewish people from the face of the earth. Louis F. thinks that’s a pretty good idea.
And recently, I told you about Tamika Mallory, ANOTHER Women’s March leader who is apparently ALL ABOUT Farrakhan.
She gleefully Instagramed a picture of them together at a symposium where the anti-Semitism was FLAGRANT just a few weeks ago.
Anyway… the Women’s March is getting a wee-bit of backlash for this…
So they’re released a generic-as-your-great-aunt-Bonnie’s-toilet-paper statement:
Anti-Semitism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, racism and white supremacy are and always will be indefensible.
Please read our statement: pic.twitter.com/bRFqAGf81t
— Women’s March (@womensmarch) March 6, 2018
(Note they threw white supremacy in there… even though Farrakhan hates white people as much as he hates Jews. They just want to remind everyone of the REAL problems at hand.)
Sooooo that’s all peachy.
But I don’t see any sort of apology there.
I don’t see a promise that the leaders will not CONTINUE to praise this anti-Semite… or really that they’ve done anything wrong.
Again… Tamika JUST posed for an all-smiles picture with Farrakhan. She HEARD him spew FLAMING anti-Semitism at the event, and then posed for a picture and happily posted it.
Will she change her mind?
Absolutely not.
People aren’t buying it. Not on ANY side.
Forgive me for having a hard time believing this days-late statement after the way every co-chair conducted themselves in defense of Mallory’s support for Farrakhan.
No member of the LGBT community, the Jewish community, or any woman, has any reason to trust you after this.
— diane alston (@dianelyssa) March 6, 2018
And let‘s not forget that nearly every other co-chair of the Women’s March has voiced support for Farrakhan or defended his defenders in the past, @lsarsour just recently.
I hope y’all get your shit together, I really do. But you won’t be receiving my money or my support again.
— diane alston (@dianelyssa) March 6, 2018
The women who assumed leadership (@TamikaDMallory @lsarsour) responded to criticism of their support for bigot, Farrakhan, by defending it/dismissing those hurt.
Their tone deaf response to criticism (again) shows these “leaders” are out of step w this movement & must step down.

Your statement is hollow PR. @womensmarch has demonstrated time and again an inexcusable tone deafness from trying to erase Hillary, to attacking those who spoke out against Sanders headlining your convention. 1/
— David D’Ag anti-populist (@jackjonesbabe) March 6, 2018
And the delusional imbeciles trying to defend all of this? Are getting shredded by their own…
It’s meaningless when it’s a statement issued by the organization, rather than by the key individuals within the organization who have been praising Farrakhan.
I didn’t need to hear anything from @womensmarch. I needed to hear from Mallory. And Perez. And Sarsour.
— Akiva Cohen (@AkivaMCohen) March 6, 2018
Because they are the ones who were palling around with and praising Farrakhan, and refusing to condemn his bigotry when called on it.
Issuing an organizational statement tells me nothing about them, individually, recognizing they were wrong. It’s meaningless
— Akiva Cohen (@AkivaMCohen) March 6, 2018
What does this statement not include? An explicit condemnation of Farrakhan and those that associate with him, or an apology. The closest it gets is:
“Minister Farrakhan’s statements about Jewish, queer, and trans people are not aligned with the Women’s March Unity Principles.” https://t.co/HnF3YBFLNK
— James Hasson (@JamesHasson20) March 6, 2018
Still no condemnation of Farrakhan. DISGUSTING https://t.co/GREATy3BKo
— The Reagan Battalion (@ReaganBattalion) March 6, 2018
But… you still have anti-Semites in the highest levels of your organization. https://t.co/IwESf0JAuE
— RBe (@RBPundit) March 6, 2018
Soo…. it begs the question:
So we can expect the following ppl to step down? Linda ‘Human Garbage’ Sarsour, Tamika D. Mallory, and Carmen Perez. Remember ‘zero tolerance’, ladies
— Mujahed Kobbe (@Moj_kobe) March 6, 2018
BAHAHAHAHA.
Of COURSE not.
