Schumer Admits He Won’t Approve Trump Judicial Nominee… Simply Because Of His RACE

THIS is EXACTLY why I left the Democratic party.

I am SICK and TIRED of everything being about race.

And you know what? I COULD USE THIS TO MY ADVANTAGE. I was born in Mexico to a Mexican mother. I speak fluent Spanish. I didn’t set FOOT in this country until I was 12.

When I was a liberal everyone around me attributed ALL of my success to being a STRONG HISPANIC WOMAN. You know what all of my failures were due to? BEING A HISPANIC VICTIM OF THE SYSTEM.

Uh huh. Really.

I was tired of everything and anything being a race thing. That was the first reason I left…. and crap like this just reinforces why I would NEVER go back.

Chuck Schumer REFUSES to approve Judicial nominee Marvin Quattlebaum.. because he’s white.

Yes. This is for real.

Democrats apparently don’t see their own hypocrisy.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer blatantly admitted on Wednesday he would be voting against one of President Donald Trump’s judicial nominees because of his race.

I just can’t even wrap my head around this. I can’t.

The New York Democrat would not approve Marvin Quattlebaum for a U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina vacancy because the nominee is white and would be replacing two of former President Obama’s black nominees.

Citing the “overall lack of diversity” in the president’s selections, Schumer voted no on Quattlebaum’s nomination on Wednesday.

“The nomination of Marvin Quattlebaum speaks to the overall lack of diversity in President Trump’s selections for the federal judiciary,” Schumer said from the Senate floor. “Quattlebaum replaces not one, but two scuttled Obama nominees who were African American.”

“As of February 14th, 83 percent of the President Trump’s confirmed nominees were male, 92 percent were white. That represents the lowest share of non-white candidates in three decades,” Schumer added, making it clear that merit and qualification rank lower than skin color on his criteria list.

Obviously. Didn’t y’all know that skin color is the MAIN qualifier when it comes to whether Democrats think you’re worthy?

“It’s long past time that the judiciary starts looking a lot more like the America it represents. Having a diversity of views and experiences on the federal bench is necessary for the equal administration of justice,” he declared.

“After years of improvement, the Trump administration, like in so many other areas, is taking a giant step backward, this time when it comes to diversity of their nominations,” the senator announced. “I’ll be voting no on the Quattlebaum nomination.”

Once again, Democrats prove they can turn almost anything into a race issue.

Again… I find this despicable. Schumer is basically suggesting that we only appoint minority judges from now on, because white ones will not be approved.

Whatever happened to appointing people based on merit?
