One of the main reasons I cannot bear to hear liberals talk about the Second Amendment and guns (Constitutional ineptitude aside) is because they have no basic understanding of guns. They just sputter key words like “assault weapon” and “automatic” and “machine gun” and “weapons of war” and call it a day. They truly lack an understanding on how they work. To put it frankly, they don’t know what they’re talking about. They’re utterly clueless, and they want to pass laws based on their cluelessness. That brings me to this.
Some dude on CNN used the term “full semi-automatic.”
Just heard the term "full semi-automatic" used on CNN 😑

Good grief. These are the basics, people. There’s semi-automatic (one bullet per trigger pull) and automatic (bullets will continue to spray as long as the trigger is down).
Not sure what “full semi-automatic” is supposed to mean, CNN.
The weirdest part was that it was a former military guy who was seemingly against banning ARs. He fired off a few shots in slow succession then said he was going "full semi-automatic" and starting firing off individual shots more quickly. Such a weird thing.

Well, this is CNN we’re talking about. Of course they found this guy.
You need to go on one of those program and stress accuracy in firearms terminology. This is revolting …

Why don’t I have one.
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) February 27, 2018
In what sense did I misrepresent a quote? He said he was going "full semi-automatic" which is exactly what I reported.
— Stephen Gutowski (@StephenGutowski) February 27, 2018
Well, the former military guy who was explaining how the AR worked was showing slow single shots then said he was going to do "full semi-automatic" which was just him shooting single shots in faster succession.

Never go full semi auto. pic.twitter.com/oQE9YiJjTh

I have no doubt, all the leftist haziness, inaccuracy, and absurdity will magically distill into precise descriptions in gun confiscation laws…
— rmack2x (@rmack2x) February 27, 2018
Mine is only partial semi automatic.
— Sean Starks (@StarksSM) February 27, 2018
Mine’s fully partial but only 20% of the time.
Where they sell those at

Let’s just ban a bunch of guns that don’t exist but sound bad. Maybe we could ban the full semi-automatic, the AK-Heartstopper and the AR-BigPain
— LookinForTruth (@Lookin4Truth25) February 27, 2018
I’m running to Walmart to buy me some of them full semi-automatic assault weapons…

Glad these are the people shaping a majority of the nation’s views of guns. So informative. So factual.

This is one of the many reasons I’m determined to become a gun guru. CNN can’t get away with this kind of nonsense anymore. Democrats will try to pass laws based on this ignorance. After all, they have before. This is what they do.
