On Friday, we learned that not one but FOUR Broward County deputies responding to the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School didn’t do much responding at all.

Convenient that this information didn’t come out before the CNN town hall– you know, the town hall where Sheriff Israel suggested that Dana Loesch wasn’t standing up for the victims?
Oh yeah. He did that.
Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel to NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch: “You just told this group of people that you are standing up for them. You're not standing up for them until you say, 'I want less weapons'” https://t.co/Z1Yni5mWFU #StudentsStandUp https://t.co/OcM90XPz7a

How dare he, right? Especially knowing what we know now. His department = total incompetency. Are we expected to look over that and continue to blame the NRA? Of course we are, because NARRATIVE!
No Sheriff Israel you were the one that didn’t PROTECT these children and that is your job. You run the largest fully accredited sheriff's office in the United States, yet your office failed this community. https://t.co/lauyeNedob

… and neither is Dana.

While sitting next to me at the town hall, the sheriff called this “standing up for students.” https://t.co/yjeFWdbadR

Bam.
Exactly, the Sheriff reeked of dishonesty and politics as soon as he opened his mouth. Kudos to Dana, what a composed woman in such an emotional and difficult environment. The @NRA knew what they were doing when they chose Dana as a Spokeswoman. #2ADefenders

This has gotta be explained. Simply unconscionable. https://t.co/2kW4KEC9IB

If Israel still has a job at the end of today, Broward county is hosed. https://t.co/6CGnJqUr2L

Sheriff Israel needs to back off and look in the mirror. How dare he suggest NRA supporters don’t care about the victims. Worry about your incompetent department.
