Sean Hannity’s Twitter Account Briefly Disappears

Sean Hannity’s Twitter account briefly disappeared last night. This came after Hannity slammed NYT over the report that Trump wanted to fire Robert Mueller. He was all, “At this hour the New York Times is trying to distract you…They say Trump tried to fire Mueller, but our sources aren’t confirming that.”

Later on in the show, he slightly modified his position.

“All right, so we have sources tonight just confirming to Ed Henry that, maybe, yeah, Donald Trump wanted to fire the special counsel for conflict,” he said. “Does he not have the right to raise those questions?”

I don’t care if Trump thought about firing Robert Mueller. I totally believe that this is another lame attempt from NYT to distract the American people, but even if it’s true and Trump thought about it, who cares? Are we seriously getting angry over something the president thought about now?

I heard Rush Limbaugh put it this way yesterday: If you thought about cheating on your diet but didn’t, did you do it? If you thought about firing an employee but you didn’t, did you?

NOOOOO. This is stupid. Plus Trump denied it, so there’s that too.

Back to Hannity. After that, Hannity’s Twitter account completely disappeared for a few hours. This was the last thing he tweeted:

Hmmmm.

His account wasn’t reactivated until 5 a.m. ET. At this time, no one knows why it was deactivated. Was it Hannity? Was it Twitter? Was it “the Deep State”?

I don’t usually care what’s on Sean Hannity’s Twitter feed. But now that I know a lot of people don’t want me reading it I’m going to read it. That’s the problem with censorship you try to silence people and it makes people want to read what you’re trying to silence

There are definitely conspiratorial vibes out there right now. Remember when President Trump’s account briefly disappeared back in November and Twitter blamed it on a “rogue employee”? Maybe it’s something like that again. Or maybe he was hacked.

As far as I can tell, Twitter has not responded to a request for comment. I tend to believe that he was hacked, but I really don’t know. We shall see!
