Variety Deletes Tweet Calling A 13-Year-Old Actress ‘A Perfect 10’

Have you watched the Netflix series “Stranger Things”? I didn’t think I’d like it, but boy. It hooked me. I binge-watched both seasons in my spare time. It took me about two weeks. It’s soooooooooooo good. The ’80s setting is awesome, and those kids– they’re stellar actors and actresses. All of them.

The female star of the series is 13-year-old Millie Bobby Brown. She’s a phenomenal actress.

There are lots of ways for magazines to describe her. She’s adorable. Her space buns are #goals (yes– I wear space buns to Zumba sometimes. Judge). I like her shoes. But Variety decided to take an ~edgier~ approach and described her as “a perfect 10.”

Ehhhhhhhhhhhh. It’s pretty clear that they were attempting to play off the fact that her “Stranger Things” character is called “Eleven,” but it rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. After all, she’s only 13.
