I’m convinced that’s why pro-choicers get so snippy and defensive. They carry a tremendous amount of guilt and don’t know how to handle it. Instead of confronting the reality of what they’ve done and trying to overcome it, they surround themselves around people who tell them it’s no big deal. They downplay the magnitude of what they’ve done. That doesn’t heal their pain or grief. They may never admit it, but the guilt is there.
