A few days ago, we talked about the new, idiotic challenge sweeping the nation. It’s called the Tide Pod Challenge, and it involves…sticking Tide pods in your mouth. Obviously, this is a HUGE risk, because you face the risk of digesting laundry detergent and LAUNDRY DETERGENT ISN’T MEANT TO BE DIGESTED.
It got so bad that Tide teamed up with the Gronk to make this PSA:
What should Tide PODs be used for? DOING LAUNDRY. Nothing else.
Eating a Tide POD is a BAD IDEA, and we asked our friend @robgronkowski to help explain. pic.twitter.com/0JnFdhnsWZ

Come on, guys. Even Gronk knows humans shouldn’t eat laundry detergent. We’re better than this.
I’ve partnered with @Tide to make sure you know, Tide PODs are for doing laundry. Nothing else! https://t.co/Oo7n7ZZpbG

This world is so nuts that Tide felt the need to get a well-known football player to tell kids and teens not to eat laundry detergent. I’m having a difficult time getting past that.
How f’ing stupid are my fellow Americans that you need GRONK to tell you not to eat laundry detergent

Gronk is the perfect pitchman for a campaign to keep people from eating laundry detergent pods. Nails the target demographic. https://t.co/zmNmI76Qs3

You know you’ve completely failed as a society when Gronk has to tell you to not eat poisonous laundry detergent https://t.co/Puc8HVCAMC

Leave it to a blowhard celeb to make this about something it’s not.
trump became president the same year people started eating tide pods

These are Chrissy’s jokes, people! (For the record, I totally understand why people like her. She’s active on Twitter and generally self-deprecating. People love that. She just happens to ruin that with her hideous political commentary.)
Michelle Malkin has jokes too.
also the same year anti-trump women started marching around in public wearing vagina costumes and professors started assaulting conservative students with their fists. and bike locks.#CrayCray https://t.co/gJUh0n6vzD

The main difference here? Michelle’s tweet isn’t an exaggeration.
