Bernie Sanders should really learn his lesson. Don’t say things you don’t mean.
Bernie Sanders recently appeared on CNN and admitted that a tax cut for middle class Americans is a GOOD thing.
.@jaketapper: “Next year, 91% of middle income Americans will receive a tax cut. Isn’t that a good thing?”@BernieSanders: “Yeah, it is a very good thing. And that’s why we should’ve made the tax cuts for the middle class permanent” #CNNSOTU https://t.co/ei8xTHGo1E

But he stepped in it big time when he said, “Yeah, it is a very good thing. And that’s why we should’ve made the tax cuts for the middle class permanent.”
Well by golly, Ted Cruz agrees!
I agree, @BernieSanders — let’s make the middle-class tax cuts permanent. Join me, we’ll co-sponsor legislation (I’ve already got it drafted) that does exactly that, and we’ll get it passed in January! https://t.co/7A3Wg6c4M9

Brilliant play by Cruz. He’s essentially double dog daring Sanders to put his money where his socialist pie hole is. Will Bernie TRULY jump on board, or is he full of it?
You don’t have to answer that. I already know the answer.
Bernie: tax cuts for the middle class should be permanent.
Ted Cruz: I agree. Why don’t you co-sponsor my bill to do exactly that?

Pretty much. That’s exactly what’s happening. Cruz is actually rolling out legislation to make the middle class tax cuts permanent, and it’s *crickets* from Sanders.
I invite Senator Sanders and all of my Democratic colleagues to join me today and make tax rate cuts for hardworking middle class families permanent: https://t.co/Y1oQaJQ4kj pic.twitter.com/3BxHyHFegn

Bernie oh Bernie. WHERE ARE YOUUUUUUU????
Yo my guy you guys just passed a tax bill, seems like you’re late to the party.
— Stephen Robbins (@YakimaAbogado) January 9, 2018
No, they had to have 60 votes to make it permanent. The Dems wouldn't help. So, now they're trying again because Bernie said he'd help. He probably won't though.
— Reseth (@ResethO) January 9, 2018
Of COURSE he won’t.
They said they'll vote to keep the middle tax cuts in place. So, now is their chance to put their money where their mouth is.

@SenSanders @BernieSanders Lets get on board to help working people
— Daniel Novak (@Harbordan) January 9, 2018
Hey @BernieSanders time to step up to the plate, or was that typical Dem talk?
— Speed (@speed_marisa) January 9, 2018
Senator Cruz unfortunately permanent tax cuts to a group of socialists isn't a priority. They need more cash to feed the machine. Any stated or perceived support are empty words and meaningless.
— James Roland (@DocSpeed1) January 9, 2018
Quit namedropping @SenSanders. All you've been doing is making sure you've been seen on stage with him as many times as possible so you might have some poor fools misguided hope at stealing some of his independent voters in 2020. It's transparent and frankly sad as fuck.
— Verity Now (@VerityNowBlog) January 9, 2018
Um, no. Bernie said he wanted this, and Cruz said, “Hey, look! Common ground. Let’s do this!” Bernie’s dropping the ball. He’s proving he’s all mouth.

I’ll be legitimately shocked if Sanders jumps on board.
