If you think you have to be an intelligent, informed individual to land a spot as a political commentator on a network like CNN, think again.
Meet Hilary Rosen. She’s a political contributor for CNN. She’s uniquely qualified for that position, because she’s an expert at creating and spreading #FakeNews.
Long story short, Rosen called a Georgetown student, who was wearing a bacon suit, an anti-Semitic bigot.
Just one teensy, tiny problem. The student isn’t an anti-Semitic bigot. His last name is Bakan. That’s why he was wearing a bacon suit. It’s a joke. It’s his last name. He’s Michael Bakan.
He was horrified to hear about Rosen’s tweets.
“At first I thought it was a joke,” Bakan told the Daily Caller. “The real way [my last name] is pronounced is bacon, and that was the impetus behind the costume. I’ve worn it to three games now.”
“I think one of the reasons I’ve enjoyed Georgetown basketball games is it’s…a time when I can express myself and have a little fun with my friends during an oftentimes stressful college environment,” he said. “To see some of that being interpreted differently is not the best feeling.”
“I’ve seen the number of followers [Rosen] has, the platform, so it was a bit disheartening,” he added.
Ya think? She totally called him an anti-Semitic bigot based on the fact that he was wearing a goofy bacon outfit. Are you kidding me?
She should be ashamed of herself. She owes him an apology.
