Police Arrest The Tampa Bay Serial Killer Suspect

A Tampa Bay neighborhood has been absolutely terrorized over the past month. Four people were killed in the Seminole Heights neighborhood, the last one being 60-year-old Ronald Felton. According to reports, he was shot in the back early in the morning while “crossing the street to a church where he regularly helped feed the homeless.” Three others were also victims of this alleged serial killer– 22-year-old Benjamin Mitchell, 32-year-old Monica Hoffa and 20-year-old Anthony Naiboa.

The good news? Police believe they’ve arrested the person responsible: 24-year-old Howell Emanuel Donaldson. Here’s the POS:

A recent college graduate who has been accused of four slayings that terrorized a Tampa neighborhood had “no apparent motive” and used the same gun to kill innocent people near bus stops, the police chief said Wednesday.

The crack in the case that has lasted 51 days occurred when the suspect, 24-year-old Howell Emanuel Donaldson, brought a loaded gun to his job at a McDonald’s and asked a co-worker to hold it, authorities said.

The employees reported the gun to a police officer, and that’s what ultimately cracked the case.

Workers at the fast-food restaurant reported the gun to a police officer who was doing paperwork there, setting off an investigation that linked Donaldson to the gun used in the crimes. Authorities also said location data from Donaldson’s cellphone put him at the scene of at least three of the killings.

Donaldson admitted the gun was his, but he didn’t admit to the murders. Police still say there’s “no apparent motive.”
