Well, well, well. Whaddya know.
According to the sourcelink, Ashley Judd has been shopping around an outline to publishers for a new memoir that will detail all of the sexual assaults she’s been a victim of over the years.
As I’ve told you before, the number of sexual assaults she’s suffered changes constantly, and includes the “covert sexual abuse” she endured.
“What’s covert sexual abuse?” you might be wondering. Well, according to Ashley’s FIRST memoir, it’s when you overhear your parents having sex.
FOR REAL.
Listen, I get that overhearing your parents getting it on might be awkward and uncomfortable, but it isn’t freaking sexual abuse. Covert or otherwise.
Anyway, because we’re currently in the middle of Sexual Assaultmageddon, and it’s a topic that’s all the rage, publishers are clamoring to get Ashley Judd’s book, and it’s expected she’ll fetch an advance of at least a million dollars.
Keep in mind also, that her first book wasn’t “necessarily accurate.” Her words, not mine. But, she said, “it (was) very true for me.”
Isn’t that handy? I mean, who cares about Actual Truth when you’ve got the whole “true for me” thing to hang your hat on?
I guess I oughta give her props for turning her “not necessarily accurate” tales about her assaults into a moneymaker, though, amirite?
GAWD.
