President Trump delivered a speech today, and because it’s 2017 and people are distracted by the silliest things (myself included), all anyone can talk about is President Trump’s awkward pause for water.
You see, he initially ducked to look for water, only to realize there was no water. But then someone handed him a bottle of Fiji, and the way he drank the water was so wonderfully weird.
I live for these uncomfortable moments.
President Trump stops his speech to search for water

HAHAHAHA. I don’t know why, but this is killing me. I’m not mocking him, ’cause I would probably do the same thing. Actually, mine would be way more embarrassing. I’d probably be blinking too much, because that’s what I tend to do when a “live” camera is on me. Then my lisp (yeah, yeah– I’m completely aware I have one) would get progressively worse. Then I’d search for water and probably be unable to open the darn bottle. So I’d be a blinky, lispy, physically weak mess. But Trump? He’s clearly a pro. He took his sweet time opening and drinking that water.
You go, Trump. You go.
And to make this even better, Sen. Rubio– who’s famous for doing this:
–rated Trump’s sip.
Similar, but needs work on his form.Has to be done in one single motion & eyes should never leave the camera. But not bad for his 1st time https://t.co/s49JtyRo3S

Dead.
A sense of humor that Reagan would have loved + been proud of. Well done! https://t.co/zZpKGPfCc4

I love all of this so much.
I don’t mean to ruin the levity of this post, but Joe Scarborough is legit offended by Trump’s “clumsy display.”
Trump makes Senator Rubio look like a world champion water drinker compared to his clumsy display. Has the man never opened a bottle of water before? https://t.co/iUVMPFUssH
