When Michael Moore isn’t carefully reconstructing the Second Amendment, he’s tweeting out blatant falsehoods on Twitter.
(1/3) So after reading the history of the Texas gunman, I think I get it: Before you can buy a gun in the US, you 1st can beat your wife…

(2/3) …then beat your child, then serve jail time for it, then be court-martialed & dishonorably discharged…

(3/3)…and THEN u can have an hr-long stand-off w/cops after clubbing your dog in the head (animal cruelty arrest). THEN you can buy a gun!

Actually, NO. Everything about this is wrong. The shooter should’ve never been able to get a gun. A bureaucratic mistake made it possible. Existing laws weren’t properly enforced. The Air Force “failed to enter his assault conviction into a federal database.” This was a huge clerical error, yet the Michael Moores of the world blame the NRA.
More laws? Not the answer. That’s a knee-jerk reaction. Shame on Michael Moore for tweeting out these blatant lies.
