I’m past the point of getting my panties in a wad every time President Trump says something controversial. MSM usually misconstrues his statements anyway. And let’s be honest: Trump knows how to play the game. He gets people talking.
Before we go on, I must remind you of the recent drama between Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and President Trump. If you recall, there were rumors going around that Tillerson threatened to leave his post. Oh. And he allegedly called Trump a moron.

He explicitly denied threatening to leave his job, but he didn’t even bother to address the moron comment. He simply said, “I’m not going to deal with petty stuff like that.”
Tillerson’s people deny the name calling. MSM claims it happened. Who knows. I don’t really care. I’ve called Trump a moron before. I still support him and would vote the same exact way if the election were held again tomorrow.
I thought this drama was behind us, but it’s not. Trump told Forbes that he believes the report (that Tillerson called him a moron) is “fake news,” but added, “but if he did that, I guess we’ll have to compare IQ tests. And I can tell you who is going to win.”
I don’t know if I should laugh or cry. Part of me loves his joking, snide remarks. At the same time, I KNOW those remarks get MSM in a tizzy.
I really don’t think Trump expected that little remark to get so much press. I mean, freaking MENSA is now saying it’d be happy to hold a test to see who’s more intelligent.
“American Mensa would be happy to hold a testing session for President Trump and Secretary Tillerson,” said Charles Brown, the group’s communications director.
When asked if any American president or Cabinet member has ever taken a Mensa admissions test before, Brown pointed out that while the group can confirm membership, it doesn’t release who’s actually taken the brain-busting exam.
“But it’s important to note that our admissions test is not the sole way to qualify for Mensa — there are hundreds of other prior-evidence tests that can qualify a member,” Brown said. “And the early success of many presidents no doubt exposed them to those types of qualifying avenues.”
Why is this happening? Whyyyyyyyy.
