CNN’s Chris Cuomo Believes The Poem On The Statue Of Liberty Is A ‘Solemn Vow’

During the White House press briefing Wednesday, CNN’s Jim Acosta attempted to lecture Stephen Miller on how RAAAAAACIST it is to want skilled English speaking immigrants to come into our country as opposed to non-skilled welfare leeches. He based part of his argument on the Statue of Liberty’s poem. Miller promptly put Acosta to bed and gave him a brief history lesson, and that’s when Acosta slipped and accidentally concluded that only British and Australian people can speak English. Miller took him down again. ’twas a thing of beauty.

Fellow liberal “journalists” have been running to Acosta’s defense, including NBC’s Andrea Mitchell and CNN’s Chris Cuomo. His take is my favorite.

You might not be aware of this (because you’re definitely not as smart and enlightened as Cuomo), but believe it or not, the Statue of Liberty’s poem is a “solemn vow” which was intended to “endure forever.”

In other words, Cuomo believes we should base our immigration policy on a freaking poem. This is the mind of a liberal.
