The Senate is currently debating the future of health care in America. It’s no small feat, but again, they’ve had YEARS to sort this thing out. They sure as heck better have something on President Trump’s desk before they head out in August. Lazy chumps.
Tuesday’s vote was weird. Basically, the Senate had no plan but voted to debate what the plan should be. For some reason completely beyond me, Democrats voted against that. They also had a procedural vote on the GOP’s proposed repeal and a replace bill (BCRA), and it wasn’t even close. Republicans came up super short, 43-57. No Democrats voted for it (shocker) and Republican Sens. Collins, Corker, Cotton, Graham, Heller, Lee, Moran, Murkowski and Paul joined them (for different reasons, of course).
So the debate rages on. That’s what’s going down in D.C. today. They’re thinking, debating and fighting. What will come of it? I haven’t the slightest idea. All I know is, Democrats are 100% sure thousands of people are about to drop dead, thanks to Republicans.
I’m hardly exaggerating. Actually, I’m not exaggerating at all. They’re straight up planning for corpses in the streets.
I guess we're going back to the dystopian nightmare days of 2010 where we stacked the corpses in the street like cordwood

S/o to this guy for this perfect response:
But, enough about your days living in Chicago…
— Ned Ryerson (@Crapplefratz) July 25, 2017
But seriously. This is not a drill. People. Will. DIE.
Gut check time. If the House bill – or any variant of it – passes, thousands will go bankrupt or die. This is not hyperbole. This is real.
— Chris Murphy (@ChrisMurphyCT) July 25, 2017
Let's be clear. John McCain thinks he is worthy of health care, but that million of his fellow Americans are NOT and deserve to die.
— @red3blog (@red3blog) July 25, 2017
John McCain is going to use our money to get the best healthcare possible, while we watch our loved ones die.
— 🏳️🌈Jenny Trout (@Jenny_Trout) July 25, 2017
FoxNews dumb ass viewers will watch their loved ones die when they lose health care & just be told Obama did it & they'll say Obama did it.

Republican death panel votes on who gets to die soonest today.
— mikee505 (@mikee505) July 26, 2017
I’m sorry! I think you’re confusing a health care debate with the Actual Consequences of socialized medicine. Try again!
Republicans have been working since Day 1 of the Trump Administration to drive up health care costs as a political ploy. #ProtectOurCare
— Nancy Pelosi (@NancyPelosi) July 25, 2017
…which is why they’re trying to make health care more affordable? Makes sense.
Real death panel is the Republican Party willing to let thousands die due to lack of healthcare just to give tax breaks to their rich donors
— Samantha 🌹 (@samhwils) July 25, 2017
Again with the death panel thing. Did you even HEAR about the whole Charlie Gard case?
Republican Senator: "How do we MAGA?"
Other Republican senator: "The answer is simple. We let the poor die."#SaveACA
— Michael Patrick (@TotallyDoge) July 25, 2017
The poor are fine. They’re flooding Medicaid (which desperately needs to be weeded out). The middle class needs relief.
If anyone in America ever votes Republican for any of these constituents again, they are a god damn fool.
They. Willingly. Let. You. Die. pic.twitter.com/gSfWfiFezY
— Sean Kane (@MaverickofKain) July 25, 2017
WHO ARE REPUBLICANS ALLOWING TO DIE?!
Remember the names. These senators in green voted for you to die. The Death of the American Dream.#Deathcare

Are you meaning to tell me you’ll Actual Die if others aren’t forced to purchase unaffordable insurance?
AND the worst hit will be the GOP states: rural hospitals will close, many Republican voters will die.
— Samuel B Jonathan (@SamuelBJonathan) July 25, 2017
I just can’t believe this line of logic.
I really don't want to be on the phone telling any parent that their child might die because of legislation that Republicans might pass. pic.twitter.com/Xz2xaPrlgp
— Bernie Sanders (@SenSanders) July 25, 2017
This is America, we are not going to pass legislation that allows thousands of people to die. pic.twitter.com/oMQpOiwkFw
— Bernie Sanders (@SenSanders) July 25, 2017
Well if Bernie says thousands will die, it MUST be true. Sadly, a lot of millennials and old, confused liberal people believe that. So does this butthurt soul.
It's not even just that people will die like that sounds so simple. People's quality of life will decline drastically, and THEN they'll die.
— Coffee Spoonie (@coffeespoonie) July 26, 2017
Ya hear that? If you’re not forced to purchase unaffordable insurance, your quality of life will drastically decrease, THEN you’ll die.
I actually got into it with her for a second. Then I realized how much she sucked at this whole arguing thing. All she has is, “YOU WANT PEOPLE TO DIE.” That’s it. There’s no worthy counter.

— Hannah Bleau (@hannahbleau_) July 26, 2017
lol no first you'll throw a tantrum about why you don't need healthcare, then you'll get sick (maybe even develop empathy!), then you'll die
— Coffee Spoonie (@coffeespoonie) July 26, 2017
I actually have a sister with severe cerebral palsy and various medical issues, so you can lecture me about empathy another time!
— Hannah Bleau (@hannahbleau_) July 26, 2017
Oh okay then, so you're just a horrific human being who knows exactly what they're doing and values money over human lives. Got it. 😊
— Coffee Spoonie (@coffeespoonie) July 26, 2017
And you're an idiot who confuses wanting affordable health care with wanting people to drop dead. Glad we got that settled!
— Hannah Bleau (@hannahbleau_) July 26, 2017
"Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm an abled and I think health is a permanent thing someone does or doesn't have, and that not everyone needs healthcare!" https://t.co/dlHbZUPepo
— Coffee Spoonie (@coffeespoonie) July 26, 2017
Does the stupid physically hurt? And does Obamacare cover that? I’m genuinely curious.
