Jimmy Carter Proclaims That He Voted For Bernie In The Democrat Primary

Only a senile socialist would consider an endorsement from the Second Worst President in American History as something to celebrate.

According to this, Jimmy Carter and Bernie Sanders appeared at a speaking event at the Carter Center in Atlanta, Georgia. During the event, Bernie touted his socialist agenda to a captive audience, just like he did throughout his campaign. And at the end of Bernie’s tirade, Carter just smiled and said –

When Sanders finished railing against a growing American oligarchy, Carter smiled and said, ‘Y’all see why I voted for him?’

So… Jimmy Carter is cool with socialism and all of Bernie’s class warfare bullcrap.

Then again, it speaks volumes when a former president from the Democrat Party doesn’t even vote for the Democrats’ preferred candidate.

For all the panicking over former Republicans presidents and nominees not leaping on the Trump Train in the campaign, people forget just how divided the Democrats were as well.

Sure, Carter did endorse Hillary in the general election, but that was probably more out of party loyalty than anything.

Though I have to say that it’s not surprising that two old geezers stuck on failed systems in the past have become best buddies. As long as they both stick to giving speeches and not actually running the country, I’m fine with it.
