Nancy Pelosi Wants To Read The GOP Healthcare Replacement Bill Before Congress Votes On It

This would be hilarious if I haven’t wanted to punch this hag in the face every day for the last seven years.

According to this, Nancy Pelosi all of a sudden wants the Republicans to be 100% transparent and forthcoming with their new proposed healthcare bill. You know, since she herself was SOOOOO transparent with Obamacare when it was being shoved through Congress under her watch –

The House minority leader is calling for total transparency regarding the GOP-backed legislation:

Members must not be asked to vote on this legislation before the [Congressional Budget Office] and the Joint Committee on Taxation have answered the following questions about your legislation in 2018 and 2019, over the 10-year budget window, and in the decade after: How will this bill measure up to the Affordable Care Act and current Medicaid law on coverage, quality, and cost?  And how will it impact Medicare solvency?

“These are critical questions and I hope that Republicans will honor their responsibility to the American people both before the Committees vote and before the final bill goes to the House floor,” Pelosi said.

OH REALLY, Nancy? Tell me, then – have you just had a change of heart since you infamously claimed this back in 2010?

Don’t get me wrong – I heartily welcome government transparency on ALL these bills. I hate it when laws are passed without discussion or debate on the facts. Which is why I cannot stand Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid or ANY of the Democrats crowing and posturing about how awesome Obamacare is, while the damn thing brings our health care system crashing down around our ears. Obamacare was purely to score political points and win the Democrats votes and to bring about single-payer healthcare, even though that’s the exact OPPOSITE of what Americans want.

If there is ANYONE we can safely ignore when it comes to crafting healthcare legislation, it’s Nancy Pelosi.
