Obama Comments On Colin Kaepernick – AGAIN!

Well, this is quite the change. To say the least.

A few weeks ago, Obama predictably sided with Colin Kaepernick over the QB’s stupid national anthem protest. But now, Obama has decided that maaaaaaybe Kaepernick’s actions could be construed as insulting to American military families.

Here’s what he’s saying now, according to this –

he president defended Kaepernick and others who have joined him in such acts, which many Americans consider offensive, saying, “We fight sometimes so that people can do things that we disagree with.” But Obama also said people on both sides of the issue should keep open ears.
“Sometimes out of these controversies, we start getting into a conversation, and I want everybody to listen to each other,” Obama said. “So I want Mr. Kaepernick and others who are on a knee, I want them to listen to the pain that that may cause somebody who, for example, had a spouse or a child who was killed in combat, and why it hurts them to see somebody not standing.”

Wow. That’s… actually pretty decent of Obama. For once.

Sadly, it didn’t last long. Here’s what he said in his very next breath –

The president added, however: “I also want people to think about the pain that he may be expressing about somebody who’s lost a loved one that they think was unfairly shot.”

Well… you can’t have everything in life. Including a Democrat president who sides with law enforcement officers and has their back in this country.
