I’ve kind of ignored the third-party candidates in this election, even though my brother-in-law is all in for Gary Johnson, (Me? I think Johnson is a massive tool. But that’s neither here nor there). I get why people would want to look for alternatives this go-round, even if I don’t agree with it. But I can understand why.
That being said – is it any question that Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein is totally off-her-rocker-bugnuts-crazy? The woman is Bernie Sanders on steroids, with a heaping dash of granola-head moonbat. The good news is that she’s so far down in the polls that it’s almost not worth mentioning. Except… we kind of thought Bernie Sanders wasn’t worth mentioning at one point, and look how that turned out.
Bernie may have lost, Jill Stein may lose – but they do have their supporters. Mostly young people who wholeheartedly believe in their socialist policies and will carry on those provably failed beliefs into the future. Just in case you weren’t having a hard enough time sleeping at night already.
For example, here’s what Jill Stein tweeted about Harambe, the gorilla who was killed at the Cincinnati Zoo after he posed a threat to a human toddler who fell in the gorilla enclosure last summer –
The killing of Harambe 3 months ago today reminds us to be a voice for the voiceless. https://t.co/wMZpWlLicY pic.twitter.com/8WtlDhRlIy

Honestly, I didn’t know Harambe was still A Thing in the news cycle, but he’s slowly been creeping back onto social media lately. But his death is apparently still a rallying cry for People Who Want To Feel Useful And Are Allergic To Getting Actual Jobs. Just goes to show you what demographic Jill Stein is aiming for in her campaign (such as it is).
But the good folks at Twitchy made the connection to another set of tweets Stein posted not-too-long-ago. And if this doesn’t sum up progressive feminism – and progressives – in a nutshell, I don’t know what does –

Yep. A gorilla is an innocent, voiceless creature who needs leftist humans to speak for him, but an unborn child is a nuisance and a burden for a woman who wants to run away from her responsibilities. Leftist priorities, right there. Animals are more important than human beings, especially human children.
Like I said, I don’t expect Stein to make that much of an impact in this election. But I see young leftists turning to her since their beloved Grandpa Bernie is no longer running for president. And given how big of a deal they made him, I can only imagine what they could do for Jill Stein in the future. Best to head that disaster off if at all possible.
