Scott Walker Endorses Ted Cruz For President!

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has officially made a presidential endorsement. (Remember back when he was in the presidential race? Good times.) He’s endorsing Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

Walker listed three reasons he’s supporting Cruz. He believes Cruz is a true constitutional conservative, and he said Cruz knows how to take on the big government special interests. Ultimately, he believes Cruz is best positioned– by far– to win the nomination and to go on and defeat Hillary Clinton in the fall.

He also took the time to point out that he’s for Cruz. He believes in him and his message. He’s standing for something. He’s not just supporting him because he’s against someone else. *coughRomneyGrahamJeb!cough*

I don’t think this endorsement could come at a better time. Wisconsin’s Republican Primary is right around the corner, and the current RCP average shows Trump up by less than 2 points in the state. (Although I should note, Cruz is ahead in a number of individual polls.)

Perhaps this endorsement will give Cruz the boost he so desperately needs.
