During last Thursday’s GOP debate (you know, after we all stopped laughing uncomfortably when we realized Donald Trump wanted us all to know about his junk and that’s why you should vote for him), you might have noticed Marco Rubio going after Trump about something called “Trump University” and that it was a going to be a scandal for Trump in the election. I mean, if the guy can’t even run a pyramid-scheme masquerading as a school for aspiring entrepreneurs, how is he going to run a country?
CBS News did a segment on Trump University and found out more details. Like how they got homeless people to max out their credit cards just so they could attend seminars they couldn’t actually afford.
(Side Note: That kind of sounds like what accredited public universities do – instead of getting college kids to max out their credit cards paying for tuition, just go thousands of dollars in debt with student loans. I guess the accreditation makes it okay or something.)

Of course Trump is going to say that 98% of Trump U. enrollees say they were happy with the program. But if Trump’s going to lie about something – maybe he ought to make sure that there isn’t documentation (say, like court documents) that say over 40% got their money back.
The man just runs his mouth off whether or not what he’s saying is true. That might work in the reality TV and professional celebrity business, but it’s not going to cut it as POTUS.
But think about this – if the general election comes down to Hillary vs. Trump, it could very well be the first presidential election where both candidates are under investigation for illegal activity.
Great job, voters. Y’all sure know how to pick ’em.
