Tomorrow is Mini Super Tuesday. Four states– Michigan, Mississippi, Idaho and Hawaii– vote. We have a decent number of delegates up for grabs– 150, to be exact. None of the March 8 states are winner-take-all. All proportional.
Here’s how the polls are shaping up:
RCP didn’t have any recent polling data for Hawaii.
My take? This is depressing. I mean, look at Kasich’s numbers in Michigan. He’s possibly sucking up 20 percent of the vote– 20 percent that could go toward Cruz to knock out Trump’s lead in that state. (Although other polls show Kasich coming in dead last, so I guess we’ll have to see tomorrow.)
Kasich doesn’t stand a chance. He’s sucking up valuable votes. Let’s be honest. He’s running for VP. He knows good and well that he’s never going to be the Republican nominee.
The upside? Polls are unpredictable, and these are a bit outdated– Mississippi’s average still takes Carson into consideration.
I just don’t want a Trump sweep tomorrow. That’s all I’m saying.
