OH NOES! Caitlyn Jenner Commits Thought Crimes Against Hillary Clinton

If we suddenly don’t hear from Caitlyn Jenner for a substantial amount of time, it might be safe to assume she’s been hauled off to some progressive social justice re-education camp or something.

According to this, Caitlyn Jenner was talking politics on the season premiere of ‘I Am Cait’ (wow – that show got renewed for a second season? Who knew?) and the subject of the Democratic Primary came up. The group of transgender women Jenner was with were all talking about Hillary when Jenner said that Hillary ‘couldn’t care less about women’ –

We need both sides and if we’re unfortunate enough get Hillary as our next president, we need her on our side. Although she won’t be — she couldn’t care less about women.”

 

“She cares about herself.”

 

After Jenner’s friends criticized him for his conservative views, he said Republicans just had bigger things to worry about than “trans issues.”

 

“They’re just worried about much bigger issues than the trans issues,” Jenner added.

 

“We’re $18.5 trillion in debt. I think what they don’t realize is this country could collapse over this at some point and if our country collapses it doesn’t make any difference if you’re gay, trans, whatever.”

 

“Republicans and the conservatives are not these horrible people out there trying to oppress people. I don’t feel like they’re out to get us. Every conservative guy out there believes in everybody’s rights.”

Jenner’s got a great point that gets lost in all this arguing over social issues – the economy doesn’t care who you sleep with or any of that gender identity politics crap. Social justice issues take away from the big picture problems that our nation is dealing with and gets us arguing over things that, in the long run, really don’t matter. Things that REALLY won’t matter if the economy goes completely toes-up and nobody – straight, gay, trans, or whoever – can’t find a job and support themselves. By that point, I don’t think people will be terribly concerned about what kind of sign is on a public bathroom door.

You know, the more I hear Caitlyn Jenner talk about her political views, the more I really don’t care that she used to be a dude. Sure, it’s still strange to me and I don’t understand the whole transgender thing at all. But, conservatism takes all sorts, if you ask me. And conservatives don’t all agree on everything 100% (even we Chicks have our own individual opinions on various political and social topics). As long as you’ve got a good grasp of the core principles of personal liberty, small government, individual freedom, and the Constitution – come join the club! Let liberals force all of their followers to fall in lock-step with their prescribed ideology. In fact, many of them are probably freaking out that their poster child for transgender issues is talking sane topics like the economy and personal liberty and openly preferring Ted Cruz over Hillary Clinton for president – but that just shows their own small-mindedness.

You all can do what you like with this information. Me? I say give Caitlyn a high five and tell her to keep fighting the good conservative fight.
