February 1, 2016When things like this come about, I despair for my country.
(Well, Hillary Clinton as a legit contender for POTUS makes me despair for my country anyway. This just makes it worse.)
People are actually signing a petition in support of Hillary Clinton choosing Karl Marx (dead white guy who wrote The Communist Manifesto in the mid-1800s) as her vice-presidential running mate. And it could be that these people are just all “Yeah, sure dude. I’ll sign whatever if it means you’ll quit bugging me.” Then again – none of them even bat an eye about what he’s saying or who he’s talking about. Like, not even the hint of recognition that he’s proposing a dead guy be Hillary’s running mate (to say nothing of the part he played in bringing communism to the wider world).
Maybe the shiny “Hillary 2016″ t-shirt distracted them. Who knows?

You know what would be an interesting exercise? Circulate one of these “Man on the Street” petitions saying something to the effect of “Prosecute Hillary Clinton for releasing classified information and breaking the law.” See if people think about what they’re signing then. If people get mad about it and defend Hillary, then we know that they’re legitimately mind-numbed Clinton-bots. If they sign it – maybe it means that they’ll sign whatever is handed to them. Or it could be that they actually think she should be in prison.
Might be a fun experiment.
