Sooo… did anyone know that the Democrats had a Town Hall broadcast on CNN last night? I certainly didn’t. And it’s not like this was scheduled the weekend before Christmas or on the night of the NFL Playoffs or anything else that would make people go “Nah – let’s skip LiarFest and watch football instead!” It was just a random Monday night in January right before the Iowa Caucuses. People should have been hearing about it – especially since next-to-nobody watched the actual debates. Either somebody really fell down on the job advertising this sucker, or the DNC deliberately didn’t make a big fuss about it (or – conceivably – both). After all, Queen Hillary is their felon gal. Why try to hear from anyone else at all?
What’s that about “maximizing exposure” again, Debbie?
Anyway, there was a Democrat Town Hall in Iowa that CNN broadcast last night and no one knew about it. One audience question has some people raising eyebrows over whether this question was hand-picked for Hillary by CNN or her campaign. It’s certainly no hard-hitting question over policy or a sob-story about keeping some government welfare program up and running. It’s purely a fluff-piece. But the way it was delivered by this kid – who is clearly flustered and not used to being on camera at all – is what’s making people wonder about it –

“I can see why they gave you this question.” As in, he didn’t think of this question himself. This isn’t something he really wanted to know. As in, he’s reading from a note card that someone else gave him – likely CNN or quite possibly the Clinton campaign. Or even the DNC. No telling for certain. Though we do know that the DNC is trying to keep a lid on Hillary as much as possible to limit the possibility of her slipping up and making the crown fall off her head.
And honestly – who takes a chance to ask a presidential candidate a serious question at a town hall and asks “Which former president do you admire?” Double stupid points for asking someone who is married to a former president. Triple stupid points, because there are a kajillion other things we want to hear Hillary Clinton’s answers for – Benghazi, emails, Clinton Foundation funding, silencing Bill’s bimbos… the list goes on.
Brett Rosengren, the guy asking the question, did comment on Twitter about the situation. He says that it was the question he wanted to ask, but was directed to ask it of Hillary. I’m only giving him the double stupid points, because it’s still a really, really dumb question want to ask of ANY presidential candidate. I’ll give CNN or the DNC quadruple stupid points for allowing that question to be asked at a serious primary election event. Good grief – this isn’t the Hayville Middle School 8th grade Career Day assembly –
@philphelix it was my question, but I said it could be directed to any candidate. Hillary happened to be the one they chose

The guy also said he’s probably going to caucus for Martin O’Malley –
@trismegistis737 I think I will be caucusing for O’Malley now! #OMalley2016

Explains a lot.
