Obama Doesn’t Think America Will Elect Someone Divisive

I couldn’t care less about Obama’s election predictions. I don’t care if he endorses someone, I don’t care if he takes jabs at candidates and I don’t care to hear his campaign advice. He’s a big fat failure who will soon slip into irrelevancy. The only thing we’ll remember is the sucktastic mess he left behind. (Which explains why he’s using tonight’s State of the Union address to solidify his legacy.)

But some do care what Obama thinks of the 2016 field. Just so you know, he’s “pretty confident” Donald Trump won’t win the big election.  People aren’t going to fall for his shenanigans much longer. (Apparently, Obama hasn’t paid much attention to the polls.)

Obama’s also pretty sure everyone will eventually reject the message of conservatism. (Fiscal responsibility, lower taxes, and less government is so unattractive, you know.)

“Talk to me if he wins,” Obama told Matt Lauer. “Then we’ll have a conversation about how responsible I feel about it.”

Then we’ll have a conversation about it, minions.

“But I’m pretty confident that the overwhelming majority of Americans are looking for the kind of politics that does feed our hopes and not our fears, that does work together and doesn’t try to divide, that isn’t looking for simplistic solutions and scapegoating,” Obama told Matt Lauer.

Trump will never get away with “scapegoating.”  I mean, do you seriously think America would elect a total narcissistic, divisive jerk who blames others for everything? That would NEVER happen. (Catching my drift here?)

Is Obama aware of how divided the country is right now? How can he still blame that on “right-wing” rhetoric? HE’S the president. HE promised that he would bring the country together. Because hope and change and rainbows and hugs and love. 

“I could not be prouder of what we’ve accomplished,” Obama added.

Someone pass the wine. I’m going to need it tonight.
