But….But…Why Didn’t Amy Schumer Shun The Golden Globes Because Of All The Guns Seen There?

You know who shouldn’t get ANY armed protection at all at red carpet events?

All of the celebrities who call for gun control in this country, including Amy Schumer.  I could name a TON of celebrities who hate the fact that we have that thing called a Constitution and a Second Amendment, but I’m going to use Amy Schumer as an example, because she’s put herself out there as the newest poster-girl for gun control in the past few months.

Here’s the thing – Amy Schumer got a whole CRAPLOAD of armed protection at Sunday night’s Golden Globes in the form of really big dudes with guns, bomb-sniffing dogs, and lots and LOTS and LOTS of security.  Because just like Obama and his administration, Amy and celebrities like her are better than you.  Why, she’s entitled to defend herself, but you and your family?  You’re simply not as important, dontchaknow.

Behold the military-like security at the Globes, because celebrities’ lives are super-duper-important, y’all:

You?  Well, you just get to watch their awesomeness at home, and then watch people like Amy Schumer (and other celebs) talk about how much they hate guns and try to legislate you not having them. I mean, you’re just a commoner, after all.  Why on earth would you need a firearm?

Yep, this year Amy’s become the new celebrity spokeswoman to squelch our Second Amendment rights. And next year, it’ll be a new celebridiot who doesn’t know what she’s talking about and doesn’t live in the real freaking world.

But color me shocked – what with all of her hatred of guns – that Amy hung around the Globes on Sunday, with all of those MEAN AND SCARY guns in her midst. If she really felt that strongly about her cause, she should’ve fled. With her new role in gun control activism, you’d think she’d put her money where her mouth is and not be anywhere where armed guards are.  Why on earth would she be anywhere where guns are?

Strange thing, though, because I didn’t see Amy Schumer b*tching about how she was safe and secure that night. And I don’t recall her going home because she was so put off by all the safety and security. In fact, she seemed to have a really good time.

All safe and secure-like.

Because of people with firearms.

Interesting how that works.
