During the holidays, people can become so frazzled that they don’t completely think things through. That’s obviously what happened in this minor situation.
Over the holidays, a woman left this note on the car of the person who took her paid residential parking spot.
It reads:
Hey Stranger,
Because you were parked in my spot last night (and still are??), I got a ticket for street parking overnight w/out a permit. I’m broke. These are privately owned spots, and I could have you ticketed + towed. I won’t, but please don’t park in my spot again.”
Instead of crumpling up the letter and tossing it in the garbage, the individual did something incredible. They left her this sweet note along with $100.
The note reads:
“First I would like to apologize for parking in your [sic] spot. It was irresponsible on my part and I would like to give this to you to pay for the ticket and whatever else you need. It [sic] can be tough around this time of year. Merry Christmas – the a**hole who parked in your spot.”
Faith in humanity RESTORED.
