Every time some sort of gun-related incident occurs, Obama exploits the crap out of it. He’s relentless. It’s all about the anti-gun agenda.
Agenda, agenda, agenda.
On Monday, the political world will revive. Lawmakers and reporters will head back to D.C., presidential candidates will hit the campaign trails hard and President Obama’s will start off the new year off by thinking of new ways to tread on our Second Amendment rights.
Obama’s expected to meet with Attorney General Loretta Lynch on Monday to discuss gun violence, because Congress has “done nothing.”
“I get too many letters from parents and teachers and kids to sit around and do nothing,” Obama said.
Good thing he has his pen and his phone!
“My New Year’s resolution is to move forward on our unfinished business as much as I can and I’ll be more frequently asking for your help,” Obama said. “That’s especially true for one piece of unfinished business: our epidemic of gun violence.”

Obama directed his White House team a few months ago to explore ways he could reduce gun violence. And he is now expected to focus on using executive actions to tighter regulations on small-scale gun sellers, according to Politico.
Obama on Saturday pointed out that his new efforts follow the third anniversary of the 2012 mass shooting at the Sandy Hook elementary school, in Newtown, Conn., in which a deranged gunman killed 20 children and six adults.
However, the Obama-driven effort in the aftermath of the massacre failed to get enough support for passage from Senate Democrats and Republicans.
“All across America, survivors of gun violence and those who lost a child, a parent, a spouse to gun violence are forced to mark such awful anniversaries every single day,” Obama said Saturday. “Yet Congress still hasn’t done anything to prevent what happened to them from happening to other families.”
Obama’s hoping to use the 2016 elections as a political distraction. Ideally, the American people will be too distracted to keep up with his super fun anti-gun executive orders. Then he can do what he wants with minimal criticism.
The good news? 2016 is the last year that we have to deal with Obama. The bad news? We’ll likely be stuck with the repercussions of his hideous job for the unforeseeable future.
So there you have it. Obama’s New Year’s resolution is to make it more difficult for law-abiding citizens to get their hands on guns.
My New Year’s resolution involves buying more guns and ammo than I did last year.
