Jesse Watters Stumps Liberal Leslie Marshall With Simple Question About Bill Clinton

I usually only watch “The O’Reilly Factor” when Bill O’Reilly is absent. I don’t hate the guy, but he’s kind of pompous and tends to get on my nerves.

Jesse Watters filled in for him on Friday (yay!) and stumped liberal guest Leslie Marshall with the question, “Yes or no, has ex-president Bill Clinton abused women?”

The question was followed by an awkward moment of silence.

“I think your silence says a lot,” Watters said.

Marshall said she just “wanted to think about Monica” for a second. That’s all.

“…although consensual, she was young,” Marshall said. “I wouldn’t say abuse – taken advantage of? Yes. Abused? No.”

If Clinton were a Republican, it would’ve taken Marshall approximately 2 seconds to answer that question. But I digress.

“It looks like there is a track record of being very aggressive with women and then using political power to then cover it up and smear,” Watters said. “Am I wrong?”

Marshall was caught in an awkward place. On one hand, she’s a self-proclaimed feminist and should TOTALLY condemn Bill Clinton’s man skank past. On the other hand, liberals are liberals first, and they have to defend their own. So she essentially excused Clinton’s behavior by noting that all of his sexual acts were “consensual” and reverted to the whole “Why are we even talking about this?!” tactic.

“I missed the part where Bill Clinton’s running again,” Marshall said. “He’s already served two terms. His wife is running.”

Exactly.  His wife is running and currently going around, accusing Republican men of being big, bad sexists. He’s her “secret weapon.” So yeah. He’s fair game, honey bunches. This is completely relevant.
