I really do enjoy these “Watters World” segments. This one’s fun because he tries to get a firm definition of “white privilege” and nobody seems to know what that is exactly. Highly entertaining –
I shouldn’t be surprised that he actually did go into a protest-rally-thing to talk to people, though I wasn’t expecting him to. I thought he’d just wander around campus talking to people. Then again – it was chilling to see the black students and the white students voluntarily segregate themselves all in the name of “healing” (what in the crap is that supposed to even mean? Like – just standing next to a person who has a different skin color than you is like getting a mental paper cut or something?)
But that is kind of nice to see the girls at the end sort of figure things out. Not sure if they were part of the protests or maybe they were innocent bystanders just trying to get to class and have a normal life with all the chaos going around.
