Jan Morgan, the owner of Gun Cave Indoor Shooting Range in Hot Springs, Arkansas has been under fire for banning Muslims from her establishment. As the business owner and holder of a federal firearm license, she feels it’s her duty to prevent “questionable” or “dangerous” people from obtaining a firearm.
And common sense agrees with that.
She even gave 10 reasons why she banned Muslims from her establishment, and you can read them in detail here.
Anyway, CAIR has been whining about it but finally celebrated a "victory" after the DOJ said they would be “monitoring” the situation. But Morgan said she’s been monitored for years. She said that if anyone should be monitored, it should be “Hamas-linked CAIR.”
Newsflash to CAIR: Because of years of death threats against me by muslims, I have been under the watchful eyes of federal law enforcement authorities for a long time… LONG BEFORE I EVER OWNED A GUN RANGE.
Due to those threats, I live my daily life under a federal microscope. I have nothing to hide. I have no secrets from the federal government.
Agents with the counter-terrorism unit of the FBI call me on my cell phone about my public activities and islamic militants who might want to kill me.
So, do you really think the idea of “more monitoring” of my daily life is somehow a threat to me in any way?
She also said the counter-Terrorism unit of the FBI met with her for HER benefit. They warned her about ISIS in Arkansas and feared she could be a target.
Agents with the Counter-Terrorism unit of the FBI met with me last year to alert me that ISIS is in Arkansas… The agency feared I was going to be a target of opportunity, and I was directed to take EVERY SECURITY PRE-CAUTION necessary to protect my life and the lives of all people in my presence at all times.
I’d say she has every right to remain cautious.
She told the Examiner–
I will close my business before I will make any compromises that could jeopardize the safety and security of the members who shoot here… [I] will continue to follow the advise [sic] of two agencies within the DOJ to protect and defend my own life, as well as the lives of innocent American citizens in my presence, from any and all threats of violence connected to, and or associated with any and all terrorist organizations.”
And on her website, she wrote, “I will do whatever is necessary to provide a safe environment for my customers. It is not a choice… It is my responsibility.
And in case you were wondering, her business has been booming. Suck it, CAIR.
