Obama gathered 50 doctors on the White House lawn today to give the appearance that they represent the entire population of American doctors and that ALL doctors are clearly pro-Obamacare.

The 50 doctors were outfitted with white lab coats – provided by Doctors for America, a division of Doctors for Obama.  Nifty!  So many of those folks campaigned for him. 

The reason this whole stunt was ridiculous is that Obama refused to invite any opposing physicians, and therefore was preaching to a starry-eyed crowd who stood there in their happy litttle doctor coats and cheered for him.   How about making the same speech – the one about how doctors know best, they have the most credibility, blah blah blah – to doctors who think he’s full of crap?  Getting video ops for the evening news of himself being fawned over by 50 of his supporters does nothing but show his utter weakness and inability to face strong opposition head-on.
