I’d go ahead and mock Britain for having some of the world’s most idiotic politicians, but I won’t, because we also have a few of our own. *coughMaxineWaterscough*
Meet British politician Tom Watson. He’s super proud of himself for standing up to Coca-Cola and telling them not to hand out free delicious Coke to kiddie winkies around Christmas.
I have written to Coca Cola calling on them to stop handing-out free full-sugar Cokes to children. The nation's health cannot afford these kind of flagrant marketing stunts.https://t.co/nkNtQA5gnF

Am I the only one getting serious Child Catcher vibes here?
Just me? Mmmkay.
The good news? Coca-Cola didn’t back down.
Authorities complained about the drinks giant visiting Croydon, south London this weekend, accusing it of promoting sugary drinks to children in the borough – where one in three starting secondary school are overweight or obese.
But Coca-Cola steadfastly refused to stop giving out freebies and ploughed on as thousands lined the streets to see the iconic red truck.
The council had backed a campaign by Sugar Smart UK to ban the advertisement of unhealthy drinks to children over the festive season.
Coca-Cola scaled back its annual Christmas truck tour this year, which ended on December 16 after stopping at 24 locations, down from 38 last year.
Why do we keep on taking things away from children that generations before them were able to enjoy perfectly fine..?

Too far Tom. Let people decide what they drink.

It’s all so stupid. It’s Christmastime. This is the time of year that we eat gingerbread cookies, drink egg nog and consume generally unhealthy things. Now is not the time to get all huffy and puffy with soft drink companies for spreading a little holiday joy to kids.
Get a freaking grip.
