Bill De Blasio Celebrates Adding A Third Gender Option To NYC Birth Certificates

It’s happening. The New York City Council and Board of Health passed legislation to add a third gender option– “X”– to birth certificates beginning January 1, 2019.

This is what progress looks like, apparently.

Of course, Bill de Blasio is losing his mind with excitement.

Sorry, but gender isn’t really a “right.” It’s a reality. You can deny you’re something you are or pretend you’re something you’re not, but it doesn’t change reality.
