ESPN Weirdly Pretends Tennis Star Didn’t Pray After Big Win

I have to admit, it’s sometimes impressive how creative these people can get when they are determined to avoid telling the truth in order to protect the narrative. Everyone knows that a major narrative these days is the elimination of Christianity, religion, and God from society. To that end, Sports Center weirdly refused to admit that young tennis star Coco Gauff knelt down in prayer to thank God following her incredible win. They chose this clip, but then refused to acknowledge what was actually being shown. I guess they don’t dare validate her faith by acknowledging her prayer lest others be prompted to pray or attribute their success to God? Instead, they say she “took a moment to soak it all in.” They could have chosen a different clip, but they didn’t.

Lest you think, ‘How can we assume she’s praying? What if she doesn’t even believe in God and just sank to her knees as she was overwhelmed?’ Good question. First of all, it’s ridiculous to pretend like a woman sinking directly to her knees, bowing her head, and clasping her hands in an obvious attitude of prayer is doing anything BUT saying a prayer. Second, she’s spoken publicly about her faith, so it makes perfect sense for her to be praying and not just accidentally doing something that looks exactly like prayer but isn’t.
